Ninja Professional Plus Blender with Auto-iQ

The 18-Ounce cups do not work with the Nutri Ninja Auto-iQ Compact Blending System (BL492). Please be sure to read the product description. When it says that it works with the BL490, we thought it meant the 490 series, but it more than likely means ONLY the 490. The cups would not attach well with the 492 system purchase on Amazon, and we had to return these cups. The cups would have to be screwed on really, really tight to get them to work, and to be very careful taking them off. I can only speak for this issue with the BL492 system. What we did when we received the BL492 from Amazon, we tried the cups with the blade lid that it came with and you feel the ease of tightening the cups with the blade lids. The cups that came with the system worked great. We wanted smaller cups than what the BL492 offered, so to our dismay, these smaller cups did not have the same threads therefore not allowing the same seal with the blade lids. This made for an incomplete seal and could not easily tighten the lids or remove them. There was no point to put ingredients in them to try them out knowing the lids just did not work.
