I never do reviews because I usually don’t have the time but I absolutely have for this MacBook , I was so skeptical so scared so nervous to purchase it because of how mixed the reviews were but I really needed a laptop for school so I prayed took a chance and brought it in “good condition” from platinum deals , it arrived on time and it CAME IN AMAZING CONDITION omg like I was so impressed there are some scratches but it’s too tiny to detect and I put a case cover over it , it came dead so please charge it immediately and the battery is okay the first night it did drain a bit fast but I had apps downloading so probably that’s why also it’s an 2019 model which in general the battery isn’t as long as the newer models but it still works super well ! Came in normal condition with a cycle count of “286” so pretty good I must say . Screen is in good condition no scratches and everything runs smoothly oh it doesn’t come with the latest update so you have to do that yourself but yeah other than that it’s a good buy and I recommend getting if you just want a MacBook I got it to mostly use it do schoolwork and assignments and it works perfectly for it . Ahhh so happy with my purchase ❤️

Terrible! Not Amazon Seller! Do NOT buy!

I bought this computer last week. I was happily surprised when it arrived the next day (early). When I took it out of the box, it looked perfect. That is where the good things ended. The battery was not fully charged, but that was ok. I plugged it in, but it did not charge while I was working on it. When I removed the charger, the battery icon said that the charger was still plugged in (it was not). I tried charging while the laptop was closed. No dice. The battery charging icon never went away, no matter if the charging cord was plugged in or not. Then one time I went to open the screen, and the entire screen was filled with horizontal lines. Mind you, I had only had the laptop for two days and had been on it for an extremely minimal amount of time. I immediately contacted the seller, Who I assumed was Amazon, but it turned out it was a third-party seller. The seller told me that I should take the computer to a computer repair shop and have it assessed and then send them the report. I informed the seller that by live in a rural area and an extremely far away from any type of shop like that. In addition to that, the seller wanted me to take pictures of every angle of the computer and send them to her. I then requested to just have a replacement computer sent to me since I just received this last week. The seller informed me that they do not do this, and told me that I could return the computer for a refund, but I would have to again send them pictures. I’m extremely frustrated by this entirely process. I received a defective product and the seller should step up and try to make it right instead of putting all of the burden on me. I would definitely not recommend to anyone and would NEVER, EVER buy from this seller.
