Cut The Cord With This Router!
By John Robinson on Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2024
I recently switched internet providers and cut the cord, so I needed a reliable WiFi router that could easily handle my home setup. After some research, I decided to go with the Linksys Mesh WiFi 6 Router (Max-Stream MR7350), and I couldn’t be happier. My new ISP provided only a basic cable modem, and I needed something easy to set up and capable of supporting all my devices, from Google Home products to my computer and HD TVs. This router fit the bill perfectly! The setup process was super easy and almost “idiot-proof.” It came with both online computer access and a phone app, which is a game changer when I’m not at home or just don’t feel like opening my computer. The Linksys App made it simple to get everything running, and I was impressed with how quickly it integrated my smart home devices and other electronics. In minutes, my two HD TVs, computer, phone, and smart devices were up and running, and I had a secure, reliable connection. The power of WiFi 6 really shines with this router. It handles multiple devices streaming content, video chatting, and gaming effortlessly. Thanks to its Intelligent Mesh Technology, I have no dead zones, and the connection remains rock solid even in areas of the house where I used to have issues. Whether I’m watching HD movies, gaming, or just browsing the internet, this router delivers fast, stable performance every time. Overall, I’m thrilled with the Linksys Max-Stream MR7350. It supports all my devices with ease, and I feel confident in the WiFi security it offers. I love that I can prioritize devices and manage my network remotely. For anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-use, and secure router that handles multiple devices without a hitch, this is a fantastic choice.

Does Not Work - It Asked Me For My Telephone Number & Email Address - Still Didn't Unlock
By Eliyahu C. on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2024
The setup is supposed to be only a ten minute process, and is supposed to be straightforward and simple. The truth, is that it's terrible to setup. Nothing worked when I tried to set it up. I'm here with this brand new router, and three hours later it's not set up, it requires an email and a personal telephone number, and the router can't be set up with a simple ethernet cable, it's an absolute requirement to download an application - so it REQUIRES that you have an activated mobile device to set up this router. Also it wants the mobile device to give it Bluetooth access. After being forced to give Linksys my email, my telephone number, my mobile number, and then doing absolutely nothing for that, the router is still not set up after several hours. I've had many routers, and a number of them were Linksys and never was locked out of the router before. I've always been able to plug it into a computer, type in 192.168.1.1 and get a setup screen. This is supposed to be standard - but no more. This router is stupid. It cannot be setup with an ethernet cable. Also, not only does it want the user to install an app, it also wants the user to give it Bluetooth access. This router was connected to my computer with a dedicated ethernet line, and the router was still locked. The screen coming up insists that I must install the app, which I've already done, but the app is just an endless scavenger hunt of following directions, then ending up with the router still not working. Linksys used to have great customer service, and the online chat was good. Today, three hours in, the online chat window is open and still waiting for someone to help me. Terrible product. There is a good chance this is getting returned. I feel stupid, insulted and after having been forced to give a router my phone number, Bluetooth access to my mobile device, and email address, can you blame me? Even if it worked after all this (which it does not) I'd still feel a little silly and strange that I had to do that in order to use a product that I paid good money for. Seriously. My email and telephone number? Be warned.
