Love this paddle board!
By CheeryM on Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2022
I bought two different paddle boards both at the same price range, hoping to get a feel for what I liked best. I’ve taken them out both on five separate trips now (maybe used each of them 8 or so times each for hours at a time) and this paddle board is clearly the one that is the better quality of the two. Everything about it seems nicer. It seems sturdier, the ankle attachment is comfortable and padded (out other isn’t), the pump is nice, the repair kit looks good, the carrying case is nice, and you can add a seat to it. The board also has three rudders, one being removable. The paddle is great, seems sturdy. I love the design and get compliments on it. It’s light enough when fully aired up and easy to carry. The cons include these things. This paddle board is a little smaller than my other one (I would prefer at least 11’ for all my tall guys )and they find the other board more sturdy just due to length. It is also a little less stable with a wiggly dog on deck (my dog weighs 18 lbs). My bigger one is better with my furry friend. The removable rudder needs to be screwed in and out. I haven’t lost a rudder at this point and it seems secure, but I worry about behaving to replace parts at some point and if this will make it more difficult. Also, the bag (which is very nice) is kinda small and it’s really hard to get everything squeezed into it after each use. Finally, just as all other inflable boards, it’s hard to get those last 10 lbs of pressure. I’ve gotta have my husband help me. I will be buying an expensive pump soon so I can be more independent and not require help every time. But overall great paddle board, especially for shorter/smaller people and kids. I would buy another one for sure in the future.

flawed from the start -- update got help from SereneLife
By m. r. on Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2020
UPDATE: I reached out to SereneLife directly about the faulty board. It took quite a while to make contact with anyone, but days later I got a response from a customer service representative. The rep asked for my Amazon receipt and a video of the leak. Once I'd shared that info, the process took a few more weeks, but in the end SereneLife offered to send me a replacement board. Relatively simple and painless as long as I was patient. The new board came in great condition and has held air without a problem. I've changed my review to three stars to average the original one-star review with this update. Original Review: This is my second SereneLife board. While the first one has been serving me well for many years, this one was a disappointment. Between the first and second uses, I noticed it hadn't been holding air and had to fully reinflate it to use it again. By the third use, I found the leak, right along a seam (see video). Fortunately I was near dock and easily able to get back safely. As I was putting the board in its bag, the waist strap ripped right off of the bag--it was so poorly attached that this rip happened even before I'd tried to carry the board in the bag. As I said, this board has been a huge, expensive disappointment, especially after how well the previous SereneLife board has performed. Due to the nature of a product like this, where it may only be used once every few weeks, Amazon's standard 30-day return period is not sufficient. If you do purchase, I'd recommend getting the extended warranty. I certainly wish I had.
