An amazing product. Cools down our barn.

I can not say how much I love this snap cooler. Yes it is noisy on the high fan speed. But down in low and it is great. Will not work in a closed room. Lowers the air temp for us around 20 degrees. From mid 90’s to the high to mid 70’s. The description says indoor or outdoors. Definitely not for indoor a house but works great for indoor a warehouse. I have oscillating fans for my stalls that are louder then this unit on low. Next time they are in sale I will buy more.

So much for Big Ass Fans reputation - leaky, loud, unreliable, expensive - what’s to like?

Pros: for the first few weeks, it worked marginally as a cooler. Cons: too loud to have a conversation within 30 feet of it; many frequent different leaks from multiple bad design, engineering and build issues (seriously, who thought putting a screw straight through the plastic of the water tank was a good idea?); multiple component failures, ranging from the LED (minor) to the filter supports (major - as was the mess it made); 4x the cost of better-designed alternative evaporative coolers. Bottom line: an extremely expensive disappointment, and the last product I will ever buy from Big Ass Fans
