Stay away from this seller

I was very dissapointed with this product it's not what order..the phone was new in package nicely..but they advertise the phone as a 4G...and the packaging label said it was a 4G but when i took it to my phone carrier and had it activated it would not work because it was not capatible because the phone was a 3G instead of a 4G so i ended up paying activation fees and than i had to get a new phone at my phone carrier and to get activated too..and than when i returned the phone to the seller they charge me restocking fees...after all the trouble i went thru and the extra fees i paid to my carrier so i ended up losing like 100.00 between activation and restocking fees.. I am very dissapointed and i will never order another phone from amazon..and stay away from this seller they are a ripoff...

This phone works with ATT 4G in Texas. I've had it for over 6 months and no issues with the phone, just apps. The Screen will get blinding in night, but in direct sun even with the brightness cranked it can be hard to see. Still very nice screen. Battery life is very good, can go a week with no use and still have charge. Fingerprint scanner is very "accurate", touchy but does work well. Setup takes a bit of time. I haven't used the facial recognition, so I can't comment. Data migration was a little tricky if you don't have a cloud backup. But Overall for my second Android phone, I've been happy.

I’m a bit disappointed with the fingerprint reader technology. It often lags while reading it which makes the phone slower to unlock the screen. Overall, the phone is good and definitely caters to the "value for money" term.
They lied.

UPDATE: I bought this phone (2 actually) to beat the change over at AT&T when they shut off their 3G. The description says it is a 4G phone. March 1st, the phone part of this phone stopped working, many frustrating calls to CS to try and fix the problem, resulted in nothing. Stopped into our local store this morning, to have the rudest sales person ever, tell me nope this is a 3g phone and that the seller lied to me. I bought an AT&T phone, but not from AT&T. Which is what they want you to do. Nothing they can do about it. So my 7 month old phones, are pretty much just paperweights now. A hard and expensive lesson to learn. Going to go with a new provider because they probably new this but made no effort to let us know in advance of shutting this phone off, leaving us unable to make calls or receive them, and because I won't buy from a company who would hire the impolite ,condescending punk I spoke to at their store this morning. Hope this helps someone else to not make my mistake.
This exceeded expectations!

I was looking for an S8, in terms of an affordable, fast android for work. I looked around for cheaper alternatives and found the A31 had similar speeds and components to the S8 so I wanted to give it a try. I use only one app for work, and jeez this thing really exceeds my expectations. I moved to this phone from a Galaxy J series. This was well worth the money. • It comes with a free case thats slim, beautifully iridescent and quality material • USB-C FAST charging method as opposed to how it used to be • Lots of camera features. It isn't as fast as the iPhone X in regards to pulling up the camera quickly or taking pictures, but it does the job • Beautiful visuals from the home screen to the crisp pixels • Speed of switching apps are of little issue (I use calculator, gallery, camera and work app) • Tried Pokemon Go on it. Loved it!

I have been living with my new Galaxy A31 smartphone for a few weeks now. I really like it . It is faster than my previous phone with 4GB ram and 64GB onboard internal storage. With the addition of a 128GB Micro SDHC card, I now have more than enough storage for my needs. This is a great phone at an attractive price.

First the fingerprint scanner is very good, sometimes it works, sometimes doesn't. This item is not valliue for money, I feel it's expensive here on amazon, I just found out after I had bought it already that it's cheaper locally, which is not suppose to be the case in my country. We usually buy things online to pay less, bwhich wasn't the case with this one. So far it's working okay, except for this one time it locked me out, like not accepting the correct pin.
An excellent value and a very good screen for a phone that is not in the highend.

This phone represented for me a great value and excellent bang for the buck especially the OLED screen which can make a huge difference with outdoors viewing on a sunny day. I purchased 2 of these for my boys to replace some hand-me-downs that were not doing the job anymore. One negative I have seen in professional reviews of this phone is in the relative low performance of the graphics section of the chipset with more challenging games. However I am yet to hear my boys complaining. Overall I have no issues with this phone just as I had no issue with the A30 which is my work cell.
Nice Phone, but lacks some common features.

Nice phone. Takes nice pictures. Good size. Touch screen is good. I wish it had NFC where you can pay with your phone at acceptable shopping terminals. (This feature not being an option, is not listed in description) And the bluetooth is sketchy. I often have to restart phone to get it to reconnect to bluetooth products, especially my Fitbit & my car.
