Great Punchy Speaker, Fantastic Paired with Other Sonos Speakers
By Chris on Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2025
This is a great soundbar for the center channel of my home theater setup. If you want a low effort setup it's hard to go wrong with this. You can use the HDMI port with an ARC compatible port on the TV so the TV can control audio levels directly on the Sonos system (and vice versa). It has support for a couple of voice assistants and you can use your voice to mute, or pause the TV. It's a bit pricy, and the added latency from a system like this, especially over wireless may be a dealbreaker for heavy gamers. I typically measure about 70ms of latency over wireless. You can wire it up with ethernet, and hook up your other speakers this way to cut down the latency.

Glitchy Software / Compatibility and then physically broke down
By ED on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2020
This product has some great online reviews, I was psyched. I was excited to get it, I even waited for it while it was backordered. Anyway, finally get it, easy enough to setup. I had a 2017 LG OLED (B-series). Ever since I hooked it up, sometimes I'd have to restart shows on streaming services. I love(d) Sonos so much that I thought it was the TVs fault at first. I upgraded to a 2020, brand new LG OLED (C-series). The show restart issue was now less frequent, but then out of the blue it started to completely disconnect/die/disappear and then come back on its own. Then, the left side started making a buzzing sound no matter what app I used, what content I listened to. I just called support and they've immediately offered me a replacement. To their credit, I appreciate the ease with which they start the replacement process. But, the fact that they have such a well-set replacement program speaks volumes. Customer support is not surprised to hear your brand new Arc is going bad on its own 3 months into ownership. It's taken up a lot of time debugging, resetting, configuring in the 3-4 months I've owned it. Edit: 2 years in, I just threw it in the trash. Useless. You’re going to spend time debugging a Sonos more than listening to it. No more patience left to line by line list what’s wrong with this brand. Conclusion is that the software changes over the years have made it aggravating to use.
