This is by Far the Best Folding Zero Gravity Chair
By Rick on Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2021
I have owned several Zero Gravity Chairs but this one is the best. To start with, the locking pin they have incorporated is literally a lifesaver. I don't know how many times I have stood up from one of these and it collapses before you get out. Next, I love the real wood armrests. However, "like the sign says" you can not leave it out in the rain and hot sun. We have a covered patio so that is not a problem. I also like the extra support bars just under the seat in the front. It helps to get in and out. At my age, that is important. The locking mechanism is rock solid and it is at any position you want. Finally, I want to address the size. They are not kidding around on the width of the seat. It is 26.5 inches wide. That's huge compared to most Zero Gravity chairs. It almost feels like sitting in a love seat. I am 320 lbs. (Not bragging) and I have room on the sides. This is hard to find. Some chairs claim to be XXL but then the seat is barely over 20 inches. This chair is very sturdy but light weight enough to carry under one arm. There are some plastic parts on this that can break. I highly recommend purchasing the Allstate three year warranty. 6 Month Update: Just came back for a month long camping trip out west. I can not sleep in a normal bed because due to my age and size I have both breathing and circulatory issues. This was my bed for 30 days and I slept like a baby. No issues with construction whatsoever. This chair really lives up to it's weight rating.

fabric around seat grommets fraying/ripping
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2023
i purchased this chair because i was to have significant dental surgery and the doctor did not want me to lay flat until my mouth was healed. even though i am not even one-third of the 500 pounds this company advertises as the weight limit for the chair, i purchased the xxl size so as to give plenty of space on all sides. the chair has never been used outside, only indoors. while the chair is very comfortable and i sleep well in it, the fabric around the grommets on the seat is fraying/ripping and it is clear that the chair will soon break. this chair was an expensive purchase for me. as camping chairs go, it should have lasted for several years, especially since it has not undergone the banging around and harsh conditions of the outdoors. however, it is in the process of falling apart after 1 year of use. i do not want to just throw it out so i have attempted to fix it by using a hot melt glue gun. i put the hot glue all over the fabric that has failed and the corresponding grommet as well. with time, we shall see how long and if that works. i read another review by brandon that states it succinctly: "the stitching in the seated area on both sides has failed. there are 10 metal rings/grommets that the elastic cord is threaded through. the cord shows some sign of use but is in good condition. the fabric where the metal rings/grommets are holding the seat together has frayed, pulled apart, stretched and completely failed in 9 (NINE) of the 10 grommets... on BOTH sides the grommets had a 90% failure rate."
