Good value

I have a massive tick problem around my property and am forced to spray for them on a regular basis during the warmer months. I have tried battery powered normal sprayers, gas powered blowers and even a hacked together sprayer mod to a leaf blower. The problem is virtually always the same, to get effective coverage I need to spray a lot of volume at a fairly low concentration. This usually ends up as around 20 gallons at .25 percent of permethrin SFR. With the ULV, I ran 6 gallons at .5 percent and thought the coverage was probably overkill. With the setting on max, I was able to lay down a moist barrier around the house about 5 feet wide in a single quick pass so I can murder spiders trying to get in. At half max, I was able to blow a decent amount into vegetation quickly and while efficacy is hard to judge, I felt the penetration and evenness of coverage was something I'd never been able to achieve before. Overall I felt that it was easy to use and it was MUCH quieter than any of the other blowers I've used. About on par with a vacuum maybe. Certainly not something that required hearing protection. Listed power use is a lie. It is 845 Watts regardless of spray setting. I was actually hoping it would be closer to 600 so I could run it off a smaller inverter when it comes to spraying further from my house but that is still over a horsepower. The few things I didn't like were the motor swinging side to side in back which is somewhere between useless and annoying. I'll probably pin it to the right with zip ties and call it done. The funnel it came with is uselessly tiny given that you are probably trying to pour from a 5 gallon bucket.

Dented and broken, contacted superhandy and they said no warranty since i bought from amazon!!

arrived dented and broken, i gave superhandy a chance to make right and i was willing to repair unit as i dislike just filling up landfills or return items showing back up at flea markets resold to another unhappy customer. I contacted eric at superhandy and they said no warranty since i bought from amazon!! (i have copies of all emails and conversations.) Unit itself is prob ok but since the customer service will not cover an amazon purchase. Said it had to be done thru their own site links, so think twice! the mounts for the heavy motor only held to tank by two little screws thru plastic with no reinforcement! as pics show its easy to rip the motor away from the tank rendering the unit useless. i would recommend if u have one of these to reinforce that area with some kind of support or strap or something to limit the movement of the motor because once the motor is broken here i see no other way to connect to the tank assy. I could have lived with the dent but with such a poor design on the motor/tank connection its easy to rip it out just in simple transit. alphaworks units are the same but not sure if same company or not and not sure on their customer service so research carefully, many like this one on market!!!
