PAXCESS B086X29L2B Portable power station 200W Green+Black (Open Box)

I've had this unit for about a year and during that time it's performed as expected with a couple issues. First, there was always a grinding noise when the cooling fan was on. When I opened the case to find the source of the noise I discovered some tape covering the battery pack was ripped and interfering with the fan. I also discovered the bracket securing the BMS and inverter to the battery pack was completely missing one screw and the second was completely detached from its base. So far this hasn't caused an issue (other than the fan noise) but it has me concerned about the build quality with the rest of the pack. Also it should be noted I purchased the Paxcess 120w portable folding solar panel to pair with this "solar generator" as it's what Amazon recommended. Know that the DC input only accepts 30 watts. The USB C port can also be used as a power delivery port to accept an additional 30 watts giving a total of 60watts of charging so the 120watt solar panel was a bit of overkill. OTHERWISE this has been a good unit, it's perfect size and capacity to take camping or to use in an emergency situation to keep your mobile devices charged. 4/26/22 Customer service reached out to me and shipped me another unit to replace the one I reviewed. They didn't ask for me to return the "faulty" unit that has been working flawlessly since the original review. Please note, that also since the first review I've purchased four 500wh power stations and a second unit like the above and they have all worked flawlessly without any manufacturing defects. In short, I believe Paxcess power stations provide a good value alternative to more expensive alternatives like the Jackery.
