4k Brilliance for your workspace
By Brian E. Sikorski on Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2024
Let me just say it: the Dell UltraSharp U2720Q is a monitor that makes you feel like you’ve been seeing the world in low resolution all your life. This 27-inch 4K UHD beauty delivers a jaw-dropping 3840 x 2160 resolution, and once you see it, there’s no going back. The design? Sleek and minimalist, with a super-thin profile that’s perfect for multi-display setups. It feels like Dell designed this monitor with efficiency and style in mind. Whether you’re using one screen or pairing it with another for a seamless workspace, the thin bezels keep your focus where it should be: on those stunning visuals. And let’s talk about the visuals—oh, the visuals. With In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology, the U2720Q serves up vibrant, consistent colors no matter where you’re sitting. The wide viewing angle ensures that no matter how you tilt, swivel, or pivot this thing, you’re going to get crisp, true-to-life colors, thanks to its impressive 99% sRGB color gamut. Graphic designers, photographers, and video editors, this one’s for you. Connectivity is a breeze too. Between DisplayPort, HDMI, USB ports, and even an audio line out, you’re covered no matter what devices you’re working with. And with USB-C connectivity, you can charge your laptop and transmit data all through one cable—no more tangled mess of wires on your desk. From the anti-glare screen to the VESA mount compatibility, Dell really thought of everything. Tilt, swivel, and pivot to your heart’s content, and enjoy energy efficiency with its Energy Star certification. This monitor checks all the boxes for professionals and creators who want top-tier visuals and convenience.

HDMI cable was missing
By Amazon Kunde on Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2020
UPDATE: After returning the monitor I was refunded 100 USD less!! This is a big scam from the seller. The item was defective (dead pixel and missing cable). Very disappointed! The monitor itself is very nice. The color uniformity and monitor night mode are especially nice imho. I like the style of the monitor, and together with dell sound bar, it is a wonderful office addition. The height can be adjusted. I also liked the ports: Display port, hdmi, two usb-c, two usb-a. However, the hdmi cable was missing in the package. Another issue is that with USB-C connection, it doesn't work with 60Hz (my laptop and the cable supports 60Hz) but only with 30Hz. So far I didn't find what causing the issue. The UPS was not careful with the package during the delivery: I happen to be in front of my house when two workers were unloading packages from the car. I saw how they dropped the box with the monitor on the ground. They were about to stack the boxes from the ground onto a small trolley. I approached them to pick the box myself to avoid further "accidents" - the box on the corner was ripped. Inside everything looked ok. Update: the company offered to ship missing cable but now I noticed a dead/stuck pixel in the middle of the screen. If it is not possible to exchange it for a good one I will be returning the item. I am doing computer design and sit close to the screen. This pixel annoys me all the time since I noticed it.
