Peace of mind

I have a very long house (2200 square feet) and was able to transmit sound and video to opposite end as long as I had monitor close to an outside window. Night vision works very well. Zoom could be better but sufficient for a x2 . Monitor turns itself off and back on within 2 seconds if sound threshold is set at lowest level. It does this I think to preserve battery life. If I have the Monitor on, I want it continuously on! So the fact it will turn itself back on within 2sec. if the sound threshold is set low is a plus for me. Typically I use it during the day to Monitor my grand baby during a 2 to 3 hour nap. I'm not concerned about losing power since it's made to run without the power cord for up to 13hrs 32min. However if you want, I suppose it could be used with the power cord for possibly longer than 13hrs. 32min. The thing I love most about this monitor is that it has a 13hr. Wireless Designated Monitor, NOT my cellphone, to monitor with!!!! I don't want my cellphone to be wrapped up in as part of the security. This is a huge Plus ➕️ for me!

Review after a year of use and FALSE ADVERTISING

Seriously NOT WORTH IT! Look for another camera that has the backing of people who have used it for over a year OR that customer service is great. This company has neither of those. The parent unit will become completely useless on this device once you add a second camera into the mix. The unit worked ok with one camera (however, still not a battery life of 24hrs- we always needed to charge it after a night of monitoring on sleep mode). In July we needed to add the second camera and it completely burned out the battery. We now have to keep the monitor plugged in to the wall or an external battery to keep it on. We never leave the screen on, it’s in sleep mode 95% of the time, and I even started unplugging my toddlers camera so that it wouldn’t burn the battery down while my newborn was sleeping. A year ago, I was very happy with my purchase and it worked ok with one camera. I am extremely bummed that this product became useless with the added camera but I am even more upset that Eufy wanted NOTHING to do with this issue. They didn’t want to further discuss the issue or try to remedy it in any way. I get that they have other products within their brand but if you provide products for the safety of children you need to have a better way of helping out your customers. We will not be purchasing a new baby monitor from this company and will be switching to another brand that has a positive product review backing for a two camera system. Lastly, on the website they claim the baby monitor will last 24hrs - however, in their customer support email it stated that the battery lasts 4-6hrs OR 12-14hrs in sleep mode. NEITHER of those equals a 24hr battery life. If you are looking at another brand, just go with them. The ultimate thing for me was the lack of understanding via customer support when it comes to baby products. Once this is purchased- the warranty starts. If you get it as a gift and don’t need it for 2-6 months, you are screwed. They don’t care. If the product literally stops working with no reason, they don’t care. Pray that it’s in the 12months after date of purchase I guess.
