It does the job and for peanuts! What else do you expect from an EZ Bar? If you are not a pro bodybuilder and you just need this bar for your home gym, this is it. Don't over pay for brand names that probably build a similar bar in the same place in China. This is a best buy!

Good curl bar, but lighter than advertised

It is lighter than a standard curl bar in a commercial gym, but it works for my use (for now). The false advertising about its weight makes me wonder if it will last. One improvement I'd make would be to extend the knurling further towards the center. If you do a close grip with your hands angled like a V, there is only an inch or two of knurling for the part of your hand near your small fingers.
