Bakugan, Armored Alliance Unbox & Brawl

The following review comes from the viewpoint of someone interested in this product to use in the "Bakugan Pro" version of this game. At the time of writing this review, all other reviews for this product are part of the Vine Voice program, meaning these reviewers were given this package to review pre-release either for free or for a discounted price.At full price, $39.99, hardly any of the Bakugan included seem viable (following an unfortunate theme of Fusion Bakugan being inherently underwhelming) with the exception of [Ventus / Haos Dragonoid & Tretorous] which, even then, hardly seems worth it (despite a core line-up of MS/FF) with a stat line of 600/2 and a whopping 10 energy necessary for Fusion (yikes, hope you’re playing a ramp deck). Spending this much for a single Bakugan that isn’t even too impressive to begin with hardly seems worth the cost. This product also includes some odd balls such a [Aurelus Ryerazu] who, despite having a core line-up of SD/SD, has an effect that boosts it’s damage rating when landing on a Helix BakuCore...? The rest of the Bakugan either have terrible BakuCore line-ups or have Fusion Costs not worth the price. If you’re looking to play the "Bakugan Pro" version of the game, this “Unbox & Brawl Pack” is a poor investment.Reading the rest of the reviews from those in the Vine Voice program, it seems most of them are parents who received this product for their children who either play the basic toy battling game or just open and close them for fun. If that’s what you’re looking for, I suppose this is the product to go for as many of the 5-packs from Bakugan Battle Planet in the secondary market seem to be selling at a similar price point as this one and many 3-packs already go for around $20, so buying two gets you the same amount of bakugan this “Unbox & Brawl Pack” gives you. If you want Bakugan simply for the sake of having them then, yes, this product might just be for you.
