Cleans super well and the app is actually helpful—it shows where you missed and keeps you on track. Feels like a pro clean every time!

Does not include USB adapter to wall.

I lost the Sonicare I bought in 2020 due to a mishandled airline luggage incident in Feb 2023, and liked the toothbrush well enough to buy another. Unfortunately the newer model is not a good replacement. Comparing to the previous model, the new handle is an inch shorter, the diameter is slimmer, and it's much lighter. I'm assuming they switched to a smaller motor because this new toothbrush does not vibrate as hard. The battery is probably smaller too. This cost as much or maybe a few dollars more than I paid in 2020, so I guess shrinkflation strikes again. The charger does not have a standard wall outlet plug - instead it has a USB port "for waste/environmental reasons" but if you contact customer service they will send you a free charge brick. This is nonsensical - a brick is obviously going to be a lot more plastic waste than a wall plug. And most wall outlets don't come with a built-in USB port, so we're going to be needing those charge bricks. This model has (at least) three user-definable settings, and a tap switch for vibration intensity, all of which are pointless: If you tap the power button twice within two seconds it changes the vibration intensity from "barely going" to "still less power than the original Sonicare had". A third tap turns the toothbrush off completely. When turning the toothbrush back on, it "should" remain at the last-selected intensity. Two seconds is an excessive timeout for this already-useless option, and I can never be sure if the brush will be going full strength when I turn it back on. So I waste some time pressing the power button and trying to feel whether my toothbrush is vibrating hard enough. Does that sound silly? It is! Now for the user-defined settings, if the brush is set on the charge base and the power button is pressed after X number of seconds: There's an "EasyStart" mode which is the default, it gradually increases the vibration intensity over the course of 14 uses, "to help you get used to brushing with the Sonicare". If you have bought this toothbrush with the intention of sticking it in your mouth while it is vibrating, you're not going to be startled by the maximum intensity. Pointless. I think I have disabled it, but like I mentioned earlier, I never know what the vibration intensity is going to be when I turn this toothbrush on anyway. Brush head replacement reminder: only works if you use the special "BrushSync" brush heads compatible with this feature.. There should be no reason for anyone to turn this reminder off. Also, the sensors which estimate brush wear (number of uses, pressure used when brushing) are inside the handle and should be usable for any brush you stick on the handle, but are deliberately disabled unless you buy the more-expensive BrushSync heads. Pressure sensor: Again, no reason for anyone to turn this off. All it does is pulse the vibration if you're brushing too hard. Update: my luggage was found and returned (!!!!!), so I'll be returning this if I can, and maybe get a few more years out of my original Sonicare.

It is a game changer! The strong power behind each brush stroke delivers an incredibly clean feeling, and the smart features help me get the most out of every brushing session. The pressure sensor ensures I’m brushing correctly, and the different modes really make a difference in my oral care. The sleek design and long-lasting battery are just the icing on the cake. I can truly feel the power and precision with every use, and my teeth have never been cleaner. Highly recommend this powerful toothbrush!

I don't understand why they don't make the black base to go with the black toothbrush. But so far it is a great product.

I loved it - until it died early

I was extremely happy with the toothbrush and appreciated many of the additional features, like different brushing strengths, but which I tended not to use. I've been using electric toothbrushes, mainly Oral-B, for about 20 years, so I take for granted the 30-second stutters to remind you to shift quadrants, and the 2-minute super-stutter (as I call it) to let you know you can quit brushing. I take care of my teeth and really loved it - while it worked. So why 3 stars for this top of the line model? Because it just died the other day and won't charge. Just stopped. Amazon says I bought it in November 2022 and now in early May, 2025, it's suddenly worthless (I guess I could use it like a regular toothbrush, but... that would be stupid). Come on, my last Oral-B lasted for the better part of a decade. I'm not a conspiracy type, but is it just my toothbrush that died early, or is this some kind of planned death to keep me buying? Well my next toothbrush won't be with Oral B! I'm going with a top-rated, non-OralB model for $39 and we'll see what happens.
Love it

I love it, although the battery doesn't last much and it takes a lot time to charge. Besides, the case didn't last much. I guess it was not designed for that. Anyway, after getting used to the small shortcomigs I started to love the quality, simplicity, and overall design. I guess I might upgrade to a better battery in the future.
