BLACK+DECKER SCD7007SSD 7-Quart Digital Slow Cooker

I bought this slow cooker in January 2025. I wanted a larger crock pot and was enticed by the sous vide feature and the lid design. The sous vide is not a true sous vide, but the lid design is perfect. I wish more slow cookers had the ability to prop the lid. This cooker worked wonderfully (I used it frequently) until October 2025 when it decided to stop cooking part way through an 8 hour low cook program. I thought maybe my meat was frozen when I put it in and reset it to do another low cook program, checked on it a couple hours later and found the entire thing cold. I had to throw away a large beef roast. Upon re-reading the reviews here, I found this is a surprisingly common problem with this product and Black and Decker just keeps selling it. I think I'll go back to a trusted brand like Crock Pot.
