Best Ear Buds I have ever Purchased
By Michael on Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2020
I apologize for such a long review. I wanted to cover everything I could about the Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro Ear Buds including the accessories that came with them. I was not given this item in exchange for my review. I purchased the Liberty 2 Pro with a discount coupon from Amazon. The box itself is impressive and a very professional looking presentation. When unboxing the ear buds I noticed the quality of the items included with my purchase. The Ear Buds look is pleasing to the eye (mine are white). The feel is very good quality. The charging case is of good quality, even though made of plastic it provides a secure environment for the earphones which I feel is important when you're spending $120 to $150. The Liberty 2 Pro Accessories: The USB-C charging cable carries a good and complete charge to the Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro case and ear buds. They also provide several Ear Tips in various sizes so you shouldn’t have any problems finding one to fit your ears. They also come with Wings in three sizes which should cover most everyone’s ear size. They also help keep the device securely in my ears. The Quick Start Guide and other paperwork are a bit hard to read. As I have experienced with other retail products the print is so small you really need a magnifying glass to read them. It would be a good idea to go to the Soundcore website and download the PDF User Manual. At least this way you will be able to view the instructions in a larger print and learn enough to operate the ear buds and app. The Soundcore App is easy enough to find in the play store. The App offers a wide variety of options and selections for configuring your earphones to your desired requirements. The App also includes HearID which intelligently analyses your unique hearing profile and creates a tailor made sound setup just for your ears. I was unable to use the HearID App as I have a severe hearing disability. I couldn’t hear a thing in the test. Yup I am 75+ % deaf in both ears. I have a severe hearing problem and need to wear hearing aids in both ears (damn the 60’s music and damn my truck with the screaming Detroit engine). The Liberty 2 Pro ear buds are not compatible with hearing aid devices so of course I have to remove my hearing aids to use them. This does not at all deter me from using them. The Liberty 2 Pro ear buds actually work better than my hearing aids. If Soundcore ever comes out with ear buds that are dual purpose (hearing aid + pleasure listening device) that sound as good as the Liberty 2 Pro or better, I will be the first in line to make that purchase. The one thing I use the most in the app is the Equalizer. This Equalizer makes the Liberty 2 Pro Ear buds worthwhile for me. I can adjust the equalizer to the right settings for my type of hearing loss and viola; I can hear everything perfect just as if I wasn’t hearing impaired. The overall sound quality is surprisingly amazing for such a small package. I never expected to hear the quality of a home theater in my ears through the Liberty 2 Pro ear buds. Bottom line I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend if you're in the market for an affordable pair of ear buds, Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro Earphones are the ones you should consider. I cannot speak to how long my good review will last. If things go haywire in the future, I may return to do a follow up review. I can only hope they last a very long time. To say the least I am very very pleased with my purchase. If I could give them 10 stars there is no doubt I would. I do recommend at the very least you try them out. I am positive you won’t be sorry. If I haven’t answered your questions contact me, I’ll be happy to reply. I did leave out some information on purpose though. I had to return my ear buds as there was an issue with the length of time they lasted before the battery died. I left this out because I didn’t want you to read anything bad without an immediate follow up. I sent the ear buds back and received a replacement pair in the shortest time ever. Problem Solved! The support person I worked with Michelle was to say the least awesome. I have shopped on Amazon and other places online for many years and never have I had an experience as I have had with Soundcore. They were very polite, very helpful and very fast. Other companies should take notice and copy their standards of customer care and support. Sorry this was so long, but it was worth it. Thank you Soundcore! Keep up the good work. Michael…

Great Sounding True Wireless Earbuds With Some Serious Technical Issues (Bought for $119.00)
By Rebecca on Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2020
Sound 10/10 What is the most important aspect of a headphone? The sound of course. They nailed it in this department. You can feel the bass and mids/high are clear. And in my opinion, Soundcore has the best EQ app for wireless earbuds in the market. I have no complaints here. But now to the glaring technical Issues 1. Hiss is VERY real. It's not 1% of its product. I wish Soundcore just admit they have this problem and try to fix it. It's killing this great earbuds. You can clearly hear the "motor" of earbuds starting about .5-1 sec hiss before each videos or songs. It's the ultimate let down. I have to replay countless amount of Youtube videos just because I miss the 1 second sound portion each videos on windows 10. I've also discovered possible solution for hiss/latency. If you have something already playing in the background like a game audio, hiss/latency is not there at all when you play a song and watch a video. So I know it is something that can be patch. It's not as noticeable on my phone but the hiss+latency is still there. It's been 10 months since the L2P came out and NOTHING has been done to fix this issue. It's an issue that cannot be ignored. 2. Cannot be connected to multiple devices. Seriously, Soundcore? My three years old Skullcandy wireless earbuds has multiple connection points. I want to switch between my phone and windows 10 seamlessly. It's 2020 and you can't have "Pro" in your name without having this feature. Such disappointment. 3. Media controls is lacking. You have plenty of real estate for some sort of touch control on the earbuds themselves but having just one physical button for all media control is lackluster. And if you use only one earbuds, you cannot even control the volume. You are stuck with only Play/Pause and Skip track. Another disappointment. In conclusion, as much as I try to like the L2P, those 3 technical issues are going to be the ultimate reasons why I will be returning these earbuds. Sounds quality can only do so much as I cannot look past it's disappointments. Maybe the Liberty 3 Pro can fix all of these issues so it can be the perfect true wireless earbuds.
