We purchased 6 of these smoke detectors to replace those on our home. They arrived on time and well packaged. We never read the installation instructions because they were so easy to install. The manufacturer date is printed on each smoke detector and it is also clearly marked on the back how to activate now, as well as deactivate once the 10 year battery life is complete. I can't say how long they will last, but everything so far is excellent.

Bought these to replace all fire alarms in my house in June. Manufactured on 2020-03-15 one started going off randomly tonight 2020-9-4..... little disappointing... reached out to manufacturer will come back and do another review depending on customer service.
