OVENTE OVENTE Electric Glass Kettle 1.5 Liter 1

I've been using the OVENTE Glass Electric Kettle for about three months now, and it's proven to be a fairly average appliance. It boils water quickly, as advertised, and the borosilicate glass looks nice on my countertop. However, there are a couple of significant drawbacks that prevent me from giving it a higher rating.My biggest gripe is the lid. The opening only allows access to roughly 66% of the kettle's interior. This makes filling it with water a frustratingly awkward task. A wider opening would make a world of difference in terms of usability.Another issue I've encountered is with the stainless steel base. Within the first few uses, it started to develop stains, and these stains have unfortunately worsened over time. While I understand that this is a budget-friendly kettle, I still expected a bit more durability in this area.Ultimately, you get what you pay for. It does boil water fast, and the glass is a nice touch. However, the limited lid opening and the staining on the base are significant flaws. I wish OVENTE would address these issues in future models. A thicker base and better opening would greatly improve the product. If you're looking for a basic, affordable electric kettle and can tolerate these issues, it might be a suitable option. But if you prioritize ease of use and long-term appearance, you might want to consider investing in a higher-quality model.
