If I were thrown on an island with only 10 essentials. I would have two sets of these. Great for sweaty feet because they're easy to clean. Great for walking right into the ocean without fear of sharp rocks and can be used like little flippers for snorkeling. Fantastically adjustable for long plane flights for that extra comfort of feeling barefoot without looking like a crazy person. I keep two pairs with me while traveling (easy to pack) and alternate based on how wet/dirty they are since my feet are easily irritated. The straps are durable and dry quick. If you do want to walk around barefoot at the beach, latch the Velcro loops around a bag or pant loop for a hands free stroll. Walking for miles is a breeze. Hikes (walk or climb), beaches (to walk or swim with), cities (walk, do not climb), airports (walk), and honesty just any warm part of earth. If your feet get cold then idk I guess buy waterproof socks and be THAT person. Or be me and slosh in puddles letting my toes embrace the subtle joys of rain. Fits well. I'm an 8 and these have lots of spare room. Velcro them footsies into place to saddle yourself to earth. Otherwise your sweaty feet might slip around. Warning though, once you start wearing these all the time, wearing normal shoes feels wrong. Running shoes, too confining. Heels, out of the question. Socks, just no. Tldr, do yourself a favor and buy them. They are quality shoes.
