Works as promised - with one little difference

This is the same as Benefiber but a little coarser ground. So it just takes a little longer to dissolve. While Benefiber ads show the fiber dissolving by the time the stirring spoon makes half a dozen turns, this one will not do that. Give it 20 to 30 seconds to dissolve. I put a spoon-full into my morning juice and then make my breakfast. I have not had a problem with undissolved powder. It is definitely worth the lower price and the regularity.

Good Value for Money -- If You Don't Mind Stirring and Stirring...

I've been a long time user of Benefiber, but I decided to try Kirkland OPTIFIBER which says on its label "Compare to Benefiber", and seems to contain the same ingredients. While it looks very similar to Benefiber, this product doesn't dissolve nearly as well in liquid -- you have to stir much longer (about 45 seconds vs 5 seconds), before it will completely dissolve. Otherwise, it's just as taste-free as Benefiber and seems to work equally as well. At first I thought the cost saving was worth the extra stirring, but after using OPTIFIBER for a couple of weeks, I find all the extra stirring has become rather tedious, and I'm ready to return to using fast-dissolving Benefiber.
