It's much larger than our new wave. And it's going to be easier to clean up because there is no plastic buttons that break after a year and food goes down into them you have to be careful. I really like that it has multiple power settings. The main thing though it's going to be much easier to clean. It's like 1 solid piece of glass on the top and the touch controls on the front is another solid piece of glass. Tested it right out of the box to boiled water. It is the same box as the old new way but almost 3 minutes faster in a big pot than the new wave. Just like all WinCo products built sturdy meant to last. Basically paid $30 more than I would if I updated to a comparable New Wave. What I don't like about most of the other ones is they don't have enough temperature control. Making large pots of spaghetti sauce can be tricky with these things. I suggest you test the temperature settings with the power settings. To get the right temperature. I will be practicing after this crazy hot summer gets by. So happy I spent a little more and received something that I believe will last a lot longer. So for now very happy.
