11-in-1 Type-C Docking Station

I use a CAC reader with my MacBook Pro that has a USB A connector. MacBook Pro only has USB C ports and I didn’t want to get a new CAC reader. This adapter works like a charm.

Bought this product in September 2021 and the USB-C cable that connects the hub to the laptop is starting to have connection issues - which results in all your devices that are wired into the hub to shut off & back on. Device has about an 18 month lifespan.

For those with 4k monitor: this will only do 4k@30hz. The user manual from the box says so, and I confirmed with two different laptops. I tried both the mini-DP port and HDMI port; neither will drive a 4k monitor above 30hz. Wish the item description mention this so I didn't have to waste time to order and return it. Other than that, it seemed very well built. And it's beautiful to look at.

I consider myself a person who thoroughly researchs before making a purchase. With a thunderbolt port details that are critical to the functionality of the dongle. The most important things that are not helpful with this product is that 1. This is a passive dongle. 2. This fits in a thunderbolt port. But it I usb-c. I saw both of these in the description, but I didn't know that either of these mattered before I purchased. Ad a person who can no longer return this item, I am recommending you look up both of those details and of they are necessary to use with your computer effectively. If you just need to charge a phone or connect a USB driver this may be fine. I wanted to connect a lot more than that and this will surely underwhelm people trying to maximize the potential of thier computer.

Packs well in my bag for going into the office some days. Paired it with a high output USB-C charger to charge my laptop at the same time, and a mini-DP to VGA/DVI/HDMI adapter so I can hook up to pretty much any screen I might find.

What can I say... It's a dock. It works great for what I need it to do! Doesn't overheat or get uncomfortably warm. It's a dock.

I got this to use with my Dell Precision 7710. It does not take USB-C charging so I have not been using that feature of this dock. My use is strictly for quick connection to VGA monitor, keyboard and mouse, LAN and external audio. The card readers and 3rd USB port are handy pluses. This was plug and play with Windows 10. Plug the devices in and connect it to my USB-C port. It was recognized and just plain worked. My monitor is a 24in Dell UltraSharp with a resolution of 1920X1280 and this dock provides a perfect image. Keyboard and mouse and audio all worked perfectly. The dock comes with itself and a thin manual. It’s totally intuitive to connect and just plain works. If you want it to supply power via USB-C you’ll need to use your own or get a USB-C power adapter of the appropriate capacity up to 100W. Adapter not included. It doesn’t seem like there is much more to say for me. This dock just works and that’s great: I get a dock to simplify connecting my laptop. It should not draw attention in my opinion. In this sense it has exceeded my expectations and that why I’m giving it 5 stars.

I really wanted to like this. Great design, lots of inputs and a singular usb c output with a chord that was long enough to fit my needs. But using my Lenovos 65w power brick, it wouldn’t provide pass through power to my laptop.

Does the job, but the cord is too short.

Seems like a good quality product, but it doesn't come with a power cord. Value for the money seems pretty good, until you have to go buy a cord.
