Old Nail Tech Approved

I've been watching YouTube videos about foils, but haven't tried them until today. There seemed to be a lot of tutorials about how to troubleshoot, so I expected this to not work well. I was SHOOK how beautifully these turned out the first try. Maybe it's because I have been doing nails for a long time or maybe it was because I've watched all of the tutorials, but I just banged out a full set and a pedicure with zero issues. I purchased the kit with two bottles of foil glue, a base coat, a top coat, and boxes of floral foil. I applied gel polish to the nails, then used the foil glue. I cured for two minutes, then applied the foils using the tool that came in the kit. I really pressed down and let it sit before lifting it off. These are gorgeous nails! Love it! I wish I'd tried these sooner! If people are struggling, it's user error somewhere through the process. They are lovely.

Didn't work for me

I watched so many videos before purchasing these. They make it look so easy. I love doing my own nails but I'm not real artistic, so when I want creative designs, I usually have to go to the salon. I was so excited to try these. Unfortunately, these did not transfer well for me. They did not want to release from the plastic paper. I tried several times, (you can see how many times I used alcohol wipes to remove them to try again), I watched more videos, followed the directions and still they did not transfer well. Parts would stick to my nails and the rest wouldn't release for nothing! Even with 2 top coats, it seems to be peeling already. I can usually keep my polish on for at least 2-3 weeks or until my nails grow out too much but it has only been 2 days. I will keep trying, I bought the whole kit, but I may order some other ones too and see if I can get them to work better.
