Abysmal Customer care and no "Drive"!!!!
By Rowen on Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2020
I was excited to get this device but I have to be honest. It is extremely deficient. It does not come with "Drive" in "Files". I'm on my 7th protracted call with Google's alleged "Customer Care" and no one can resolve the issue of "Drive" not being there. It is clear the people at the other end barely know their product. There seems to be no direct Pixelbook Go help at all. So basically this comes with zero tech support. The touch pad is too big and interferes with typing, causing the cursor to jump all over the place and typing errors to occur. I downloaded the Drive app. I also signed on for "Google 1". Despite all that it still won't offer up Drive as a menu option for saving. I also can't access "Drive" to add images or documents because Drive is not in the menu. I'm extremely disappointed. I thought I was getting a good product but the OS on this is really lacking and I don't understand why. Also.......Google's "Customer Care" is HORRIBLE. They are not experts by any stretch of the imagination. The most recent person I'm working with now suggested I download Microsoft word. For one, I went to Chrome OS to get away from Microsoft Word. For another, that doesn't resolve the inability to "save to Drive".
