Great set of Bluetooth earbuds with a good pricepoint

So the form factor on these is a little weird looking, but they fit, feel, and sound great. I have these as well as a pair of Galaxy Buds, and I would have to say that while I like the design of the Galaxy Buds more, these are going to be my go to buds for a number of reasons. 1. These earbuds connect and disconnect without any issues. There is no extra software that tries to regulate or communicate with them. They connect and work. 2. My Galaxy Buds BT signal isn't that good. With my phone in my pocket, my Galaxy Buds would hiccup and cut out. All indicators online were that it had to do with my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone. I changed over to these earbuds and the drops stopped. I connect and am able to put my phone in my jeans pocket and go out without having to shift my phone to fix the connection. 3. Galaxy Buds require multi taps to control the audio. Those taps are sensitive and when you are moving it is easy to mis-tap and get undesired results. These require a long hold for FF or REWIND. That makes more sense to me. A long hold prevents accidental bumps from adjusting the ear bud or accidentally rewinding when you want to fast forward. 4. Battery life seems to be on point. I haven't tried to run the battery down, but I have used the buds for multiple walks which would combine to a few hours. They seemed to work fine. 5. There seems to be more bass effect on these than my Galaxy Buds. My Galaxy Buds would also rattle a little on certain songs. I expected that this was an effect of distortion over BT. I popped these in and those same songs, streaming from the same phone, have zero distortion. Bass sound good, no weird reverb/rattle. I would definitely suggest these ear buds if you are more concerned with value and less concerned with image.

Sounds good coming out, sounds going into microphone aren't so good

Disclaimer: these were bought at a substantial discount in "Condition: Used - Like New - Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged." True wireless IEMs have come a long way. Bluetooth had a long way to go and at first introduction, they had connection issues and would miss beats and jitter noticeably. When they got over that, the battery life of true wireless was abysmal. Claimed battery life of 5 hours really meant 1 hr at a time, placed into the case 4 more times. Finally, they have reached a good level of stability and the battery life has finally increased to a few hours. Here we have a pair that is tiny and sleek. Battery lasts for about 3-4 hours before having to be placed back into the case. I bought this model as well as the T30V. I am keeping the T30vs and giving these to my niece and these will be a great first pair of true wireless IEMs - skipping over the $10-$30 big box store ones, these are somewhat better than those with some caveats. I really thought this pair would be the keeper and I'd return the bulkier T30vs, but I ended up keeping the T30vs - might get rid of them soon, but for now they are a temporary plateau. The T21 have a touch interface, which is both a good and bad thing. It's good once they are in because control is quite intuitive and seamless. Missing on the T21 is the option to control volume (it is in the T30v) - the device itself must be used to control the volume. The touch interface is triggered when I fumble around adjusting the earpieces and I've found myself making random calls or calling up an assistant because of it. The sound is very good coming out - sound like this at this price was unheard of a few years ago. However, the sound is easily bested by multiple driver (1-6 BAs + maybe 1-2 dynamic drivers) models from other companies - but these are wired and wireless models from these other companies, while they cost under $100 and sound jaw-droppingly breathtaking, the battery life, sad to say, on these better models is still only an hour from charge-to-charge. The wired multiple driver models can be upgraded with an aptx headset wire, but that's not true wireless like these are. For $30 (I paid a lot less), the sound is good enough. The connection is almost rocksteady stable. When it works, I can't tell I'm listening to bluetooth. I do get occasional dropouts though, but at times, it goes the whole time with no dropouts. One thing annoying about this set is it won't connect with aptx to my device, it changes it to AAC. It still sounds pretty good. I have no problem connecting with aptx with the upgraded wire to multiple driver IEM solution I mentioned earlier. The microphone sounds very poor - it sounds to the other person like I'm talking on a speaker phone. I also get comments that I sound better with just one earpiece in and one off rather than both on at the same time. The bluetooth range is a little poor, about 10-ft through one wall, while the T30v has a better range and also slightly longer charge-to-charge life. The T30v microphone sounds much better to the other person. The TV30v, although larger and bulkier, due to the button vs touch interface and most likely larger battery and better antenna is the pair I'm keeping. I actually planned on keeping both at first, switching them out as they needed charge - but the microphone quality is unacceptable for me since I'll be using them in a professional environment. However, due to the price I paid, it's just better off sending them to my niece so she can experience her first true wireless or actually any kind of bluetooth headset. It's well worth the price I paid, but for a little bit more, you can definitely do better.
