Great Modem! Very Happy!

I purchased the NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router+ Voice (C7100V) because I was having a problem with my internet going down at least once a week sometimes more with no outages in my area! My neighbor said he didn’t have that problem, even though we have the same cable company, because he bought his own modem. Since installing this modem my internet has not gone down and all of my devices are operating as expected and in some cases better than before!!! I am very happy with this modem!!!

Dont buy a refurbished unit, no warranty.

it appeared to be a nice unit but after I got it hooked it up. It couldnt get the internet working. Spent a hour on the phone with my Internet Carrier, with no luck. Called Netgear to be told that my warranty had expired based on the units serial # they did offer 90 days of tech support but any repairs it would need, I would have to pay for. Well after 45 minutes talking to A customer service representative I finally got transfered to a tech support agent, that hung up on me before I could give her the case #. I will never buy anything from Netgear again.
