Exactly what I needed for wfh

I work from home two days a week and decided to upgrade from the work provided, very dated monitor they gave to me. This monitor couldn't be more perfect for what I need it for. It sets up extremely easy, it was about 5 minutes total. The picture quality is great for what it is and the monitor settings are extremely user friendly and easy to navigate. The monitor DOES adjust. You just need a firm grip on the monitor and can tilt it however you may need. I genuinely couldn't be happier about this monitor. It comes with an HDMI cable also, which is very convenient. As an added bonus, since this monitor comes with an HDMI port and my old monitor didn't (I told you it was dated LOL), I can now stream shows or sports from my laptop and have it displayed on this beautiful monitor instead of a small laptop screen. This thing is the gift that keeps on giving.

Mounting Bracket not tapped out! I purchased 2 of these & the screw holes for the mounting bracket were not tapped. Meaning you can't put a screw in them for the mounting bracket which is what I bought these for. The monitor does have holes to use with a mount bracket, however you will have a VERY difficult time finding a monitor mount that will fit. They put the holes for a mount there so more people will buy these monitors but in reality they don't have functionality. On the monitor that the screw holes were drilled all you have to do it take it apart to mount it.... The problem is the piece that connects the monitor to the stand it comes with sticks out. Terrible design. As you can see in the photos, there is next to no room for a mount bracket to fit in that space. The screw holes are there so when you look up the specs that's all good & anyone will think they can use a mount with it. But when you go to actually attach the mount bracket it will not fit because of that stand piece sticking out. There is not enough space. I also imagine thats a problem for some people who want the monitor closer to the wall. It will interfere with that too. & I don't believe that companies who make computer monitor mounts make them that small. Even in the manual that comes with this monitor from Samsung says you basically can't use a mount with it. Even the people that give this monitor 5 star reviews say that you have to take the monitor apart to connect a mount. 5 stars means perfect, not that you have to take the monitor apart. It is possible to use a mount. There are LOTS of videos online of people having issues with these Samsung monitors & using mounts. It's not really that difficult to do, should take about 10m. However this shouldn't be necessary, they could've put the screws for that stand on the outside so you don't have to take off the back of the monitor to unscrew the stand piece from the inside. To do this you unscrew the 1 screw by where the cords go in. Then use a screwdriver & pop open the little tabs that go around the entire edge of the monitor, all 4 sides. Unscrew that stand piece from the inside. Throw it far far away. Put the back of the monitor back on & pop those tabs back in. Screw in the screw by the cord inlets. Now you can put your mount bracket back on without interference for the stand piece. I've even found a video on how to do this on Samsungs own website. So they know it's an issue
