Great Air Fryer

This is my 2nd Secura Air Fryer. The first was used by my family at least once everyday & sometimes more for 8 years. Perfect for teens bc it shuts off automatically - less chance of burning the dish. This newer model did have a terrible plastic smell initially but after using a dozen or more times it has dissipated. This is faster than the oven & cooks better than a microwave. We cook everything from toast to steaks in this air fryer. I highly recommend it.

Cooks great, but slippery unit needs hand grips. Easily dropped.

I bought the 6.3 Qt model. I find it easy to use and prefer it to a microwave oven. Unfortunately, its sleek glossy black finish is quite slippery. And it's surprisingly heavy. I wish it had some handles one could grip when moving it around on the kitchen countertop. I picked it up off the kitchen counter so I could clean beneath. It started to slip out of my hands. I avoided dropping the unit, but the fryer basket shot out and struck the floor breaking the handle. I don't think I can repair it. Where can I get a replacement basket? A google search has not been successful.
