Versatile

So far so good. Many features and whats really great is you can add on as you go if you're on a budget. At first I was not pleased about not being able to connect via wifi and because i use it in a location away from my house I thought i would have to run a long ethernet cable or use a wifi extender with an ethernet port. Well for those dealing with a similar situation as mine I found a simple solution. Im using a powerline ethernet adapter. You can connect these devices to the outlets of your home and your router via ethernet cable and it uses your homes power lines to create an internet connection wherever there is an outlet. Then simply connect an ethernet cable to the powerline adapter and trolmaster and voila!

Waste of Money

Complete waste of money and requires more money to do anything except give you the temperature. Does not work with most named brand appliances and requires extra parts to make the simplest things work. Bought this to control my lights, Mini-Split and dehumidifier. Needed to spend more money on an adapter for my lights, then more money for an adapter for my Mini-Split, and more money for an adapter to control my dehumidifier then more money for a controller to work with an adapter . Then afterwards they post in small print on their website that the Mini-split ARS-1 controller doesn’t work with my Mr Cool mini split along with all the other major brands at big box stores. Then found out the dehumidifier adapter doesn't work with my Honeywell dehumidifier. Be prepared to spend a lot of extra money to control anything as by itself all it does is tell you the temperature and humidity and that’s it. $350 for a thermometer, is all it is. And for those things it does control are really expensive high-end brands of equipment. I wish I could start over and buy something else, instead over $700 in adapters and controllers for it to turn my lights on and off and tell me the temperature and humidity. Don't listen to anyone who says it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread as I thought it was when I first got it. What a piece of junk. Don't buy unless you are willing to fork out an extra $700 for wires, controllers and adapters.
