Works great on my DIY M18 inverter

This is a nice little inverter. I was looking for an affordable inverter to use with my Milwaukee M18 batteries. The ones that I found were either expensive or very low power. This inverter stacked on top of two M18 batteries nicely and worked great. Tested with glue gun, soldering iron, and LED flood lights. Also intentionally overloaded it with a 450 W heat gun. Worked with all of the tests. The inverter would take the heat gun overload for 5 seconds or so and then shut down without damage. The battery voltmeter is a plus to get an idea how much power is left in the batteries.

Package delivered damaged. Anyway, I unboxed and noticed the power inverter rattled from the inside. I ignored the issue and continue with the install. After a couple days, I noticed this particular one along with another model of this same brand and specs have very much of the same issues. Not 100% pure sine wave for sure because it caused my alarm clock to jump time ( or auto advance) about 6 minutes every 24hr. The best part is the cooling fans would automatically cycled a few time after mid night. Usually fans will kick on when I run something close to 1000 watts for about 20 seconds. Much later on fans would cycle constantly like a few minutes apart even when only between 100-400 watts output from the reliable power inverter.
