Great monitor that indeed does 4k USB-C at 60hz!
By dave on Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2023
I bought this monitor at the beginning of Covid when I was living with and caring for an elderly parent. I just like a really good picture and easy connectivity. I'm picky but I'm not a designer or digital editor. I got this mainly because I could connect a mouse and keyboard to it and just connect my work or personal laptop via USB-C and never worry about charging either. For that it worked pretty well. Since I had this nice quality monitor, a good spec cable, and powerful laptops, I didn't check the refresh rate, which I not realize was 30hz. It always just felt really laggy. The monitor has two USB options in the on-screen menu, 2.0 or 3.2. I'd either set it or left it at 3.2. I learned today that changing it to 2.0 gets you 60hz. Amazing. Too bad I'm now downsizing and selling it. I recommend this monitor without reservation.

Finicky, does not deliver power
By Chris on Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2020
I've had several issues with this device, most of which I've been able to figure out but I will detail them here. First, 4k60 does not work if you enable usb 3.2 for the usb dock. This is not documented anywhere and took forever to figure out. Secondly, the USB downlink must come from the USBC port. There is another USB-A port marked differently which I had assumed was downlink but it is not. You cannot alternate between say a displayport device and a USBC device and have the downlink switch, you have to change what the USBC is plugged into. That's a mistake on my part but it could have been better documented. Lastly is Power Delivery. I specifically bought this monitor with PD in mind. It flat does not work. I've tried plugging it into an outlet with nothing else on, I've tried windows and linux, I've updated every driver for my laptop (which does PD fine with a different charger) and nothing works at all. I messaged their support line and they said to use a cable which supports power and data... I'm using the cable that came with the monitor marked as supporting up to 30v and delivers power just fine with my other PD charger. I told them this and they have now ignored me for weeks. Get a monitor from a company who knows something about making a monitor. I picked this over a similar LG and regret my decision.
