Searched and searched....great pot!
By Doodle on Reviewed in the United States on February 2, 2021
This stainless steel pot really is pretty. I was immediately happy after reviewing so many online. The rubber around the base, makes it easy to unscrew. Gasket in interior fits tight. Steel in water reservoir is brushed so it looks like quality steel. Lid and hinge are constructed well and no steam escapes around edges. Size yields a 10 oz size cup of expresso. Instructions are detailed and recommendations are to make 2-3 pots of coffee to season pot. I have learned to make the perfect cup filling reservoir with 1 3/4 cup of water, adding 2 coffee scoops of bold fine ground expresso coffee to funnel. Percolate over low flame. Pour and add 2 oz of latte foam to make this a perfect latte. I'm happy with my purchase and having fun replicating Starbucks at home with various flavors. Cleans really well after 8 uses so far. Top is secure and handle stays cool.

Needs thumb lift
By unbiased on Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2022
The handle from my old espresso maker from that 'Swedish store' finally disintegrated and a replacement is no longer available. So based on reviews and price I tried this one. All in all, does the job. However, it does not have one feature my other espresso makes had which is a thumb lift for the top which makes pouring much easier. Something I'll consider in future purchases. More than other makers I have had you have to be real careful about how much water you put in it. A little too much and it rattles and spits and spurts and without the thumb lift makes neat pours very difficult and potentially hazardous. I use this on a glass flat top stove and although I have not had this all that long the bottom is no longer flat. So will probably consider purchasing another brand.

Buy Stainless Steel!

The first moka pot I ever purchased was the aluminum-bodied Bialetti, which began shedding aluminum flakes in my coffee and on cleaning rags from first use. No thanks! I decided that if Bialetti was the big dog in aluminum moka pots, and theirs didn't deliver, I wasn't going to bother with any other aluminum pots. After researching alternatives, I landed on this stainless steel Brim moka pot. A 100% better experience! Easy to use and clean, dishwasher safe, no need to clean immediately after use, no flaking metal in my coffee. No issues here with the lid or the handle. I love that there are no filters required. If you are someone who prefers moka pot coffee sans aluminum, someone who doesn't want to have to baby your kitchen appliances, and someone who knows what you're getting into with the moka method, I highly recommend this moka maker.
Makes good coffee, but I’m not sure about the material durability

I like the product. It makes really good coffee and is the right amount for filling a normal cup. It’s easy to clean. What I don’t like is, that even though it should be stainless steel, the inside of the lower part already looks really gross. Seems as some rust is building up there and it’s impossible to clean because you barely can reach the bottom of the can. I still use it and like the coffee it produces, but I wonder if stainless steel should degrade like this.
Perfect

Not the fanciest stovetop espresso maker but this is just what I wanted. It is durable, simple to use, and makes just the right amount of espresso for my morning cup. I use it straight, undiluted, and it makes about 8-10 ounces. Obviously the brew is not as strong as a regular, commercial (or prosumer) espresso machine makes but since I don't dilute it the brew is perfect for my purposes. On top of that, this espresso maker was very inexpensive. Best of all worlds.
Works fine - Good Quality

I've been looking for one of these coffee pots. I was hesitant because most, if not all, seem to have been made in China (Sorry, but I'm weary about their practices). I finally gave in and bought this one after seeing it at a higher price elsewhere. So far I've been very pleased with it. It looks good, brews as expected, has a tight seal and my 6 cup maker is fine for my needs. I would say it's a "GO" on this one.

We bought this just prior to Hurricane Ian hitting. I can say it works great on the grilltop as well as the stovetop. The best for me is it is good quality Stainless Steel vs Aluminum. I would purchase again
Coffee taste is good, but leaks everywhere

This moka pot makes me feel uncomfortable when handling. A lot of steam escapes from the lid so I cannot check for how much it's been filling up without using a towel or silicone mitt. I've also been screwing it on quite tightly and even then, it drips. It has been this way from the beginning. Sometimes, steam will escape from the sides too so that the coffee will not properly boil into the top. The coffee taste is pretty good, but I will look for a proper one made in Italy.
Moka Pot in the morning, afternoon, sometime evenings too

I really like my Moka Pot. I was about to stop drinking coffee until my nephew introduced me to Cuban coffee, and the Moka Pot to achieve the smooth, strong, tasty: Mocha, Latte, Cafe con Leche, Espresso, Cuban Coffees. The handle has the look of wood. Midway, the Moka Pot, there is a black grip area for one to twist open/close. Once the coffee is done, and my Moka pot has cooled, I quickly wash and dry it, and it's ready for the next round of wonderfully delicious coffee :] It is a little longer in preparing coffee, and cleaning with a Moka Pot but for me, the time is worth it now I don't crave Starbucks coffees. (don't get rid of your coffee makers, or Krueger 1 cup just in case you want quick and light coffee :]) Hope this helps.
Excellent moka pot

I am one month into daily use of this pot. It works as expected and appears to be well-constructed with quality components. I wash/rinse it after each use and there are no signs of oxidation or corrosion on the interior or exterior. The gasket seals tightly but also can be detached for cleaning. The entire unit disassembles relatively easily for cleaning and drying. There are no parts overly difficult to reach save for the interior tube which is true of all moka pots. My only complaint is of the manufacturer, not the pot itself. Apparently there are no replacement gaskets available. The one that comes with the unit is solid and will not need to be replaced anytime soon, but in my experience with other brands they all eventually give out. If this one spare part was available for purchase this would be a 5-star product.
