Incredible lamp when you need to light a big space

I've owned this lamp for almost 3 years now, and it's really exceeded what I was hoping for with it. Originally, I got it to light up a small corner of a room I barely used, but when I moved, a large best had no lights. I put this in there, and it provided all the light needed and more on its own. Now I have it in the corner of my living room and it totally lights it up. It's a perfect lamp to use when you need a lot of light.

I bought this light in 2021 and it has worked well until now. I recently lost the remote so a purchased a replacement. I’ve followed the directions to pair the two (even my partner who is good with technology tried) and I can’t get the light to turn on! I’ve tried multiple outlets and everything. I’m bummed because I’d really like to use it.
