Sonos sonos move k Sonos - Move Smart Portable Wi-Fi an

I'm not sure why Amazon stopped me from posting this review before, but I believe it's important for everyone to know about this product's issues so I am posting again. I bought the Sonos Move last June directly from their website. Maybe I got a defective product but maybe this is just how they are... The good: Great sound, feels well made and obviously integrates with the Sonos system I already have and love for my home. The bad: Battery life is poor to non-existent? Let me start by saying that when I first purchased this speaker in June of 2023 it worked as a portable speaker for about 7 hours. Now, in 13 months time it only works when plugged in. The charging cable/cradle that it came with stopped working so now I'm stuck sharing my laptop's high powered USB-C charger with it. The speaker does not recognize any normal cell-phone or wall charger, it must be high power to plug this in. Obviously, this was purchased as a battery power device and the whole point was not to be tethered to a plug. So for what you are buying after 13 months of use it's no longer functional. I expect more from Sonos, an expensive high-end brand that I have always supported. As for support... There apparently is none. I reached out to Sonos directly through their customer service over a month ago and they have yet to respond, aside from a generic email acknowledging that they received my email.
