99.9 % lovable. Totally recommend. Minor complaints.

I have been a long term user of Alpatronix products. I love the amount of extra battery life I get out of them. So when I went to update to my iPhone 11, I was eager to to grab a new case.I couldn’t tell the difference between this case and the other iPhone 11 battery case- so I ordered both of them (figuring I would use them both and/or favor one). The pros of this case are that it seems less bulky than the other choice, but lengthens the phone by moving the speakers to forward facing. Not something that impacts me one way or the other, but maybe someone prefers that.It is super easy to slide the phone into and out of the case. Much better than having to slide it in to a skin like the other case or remove a faceplate like my iPhone 7 Plus cases required. The wireless works well. The case easily mounts into my wireless charger in the car.Battery life seems fine. Obviously a decent case. I favor this one to the other one because I like to switch cases often and the other one is harder to put on and take off of the phone. These cases are designed to be able to plug in your earphones, but mine didn’t work in either of them.Wireless charge works fine, but if I were to add a pop socket or something, it wouldn’t easily do the wireless charge thing or mount easily into a wireless car charge. I wish they had built a ring or pop socket into the charger.I also wish the cases came in different colors....I’m a fan of being able to dig through my purse and see something that’s not black (my iPhone 7 Plus cases were pink).I also wish it was slightly slimmer, but it’s not a deal breaker for me.Since I found the other case hard to use and broke it while trying to put it on, I have returned it (with no issues from Alpatronix- yay supportive customer service) and will most likely get a second one of these.Other things to note: my old iPhone 7 cases allowed me to use a charger that wasn’t the iPhone lighting charger, but a regular ac charger. I liked that better. I always could charge my phone with whatever chargers were around then. Now I have to invest in a few more iPhone cables and/or wireless charge things. But I can adapt.

Good case if you happen to get one that works but not durable at all

I purchased this through Amazon and when it arrived, it was fully charged. I used the extended battery pack and when I plugged it in that night, it charged my phone but not the battery pack. I completed the return process through Amazon which allowed me to receive the replacement prior to returning the defective case, and the exact same thing happened with the next. This time I contact Alpatronix directly using the contact information printed on the case. The customer service representative walked me through a few troubleshooting techniques to make sure it wasn’t user error (totally understand) and then processed another replacement (my choice ,as I could have requested a refund if I had chosen). It arrived quickly and the return envelope for me to mail back the defective one was included. The third case worked and I was really happy with the purchase AND the customer service of the company. Fast forward three months later and the plastic piece of the case that protected the power button (and still allowed you to use it) broke off. I was disappointed because it shouldn’t break after 3-4 months of use (I don’t even power off my phone that often). However, I was confident that the response from their customer service would be positive again. Sadly, I was sorely mistaken. They took forever to respond and then told me my only recourse (under the one year warranty) was to mail them the case at my own expense, it would sit there for 14 days before they could touch it due to covid-19, then it was a 7 day processing time where they would determine whether or not it was my fault that it broke. So I’d have to go 21+ days (not including shipping) without a case on my $1000+ phone or purchase another case to use in the interim for a *chance* at getting a new case if they determine it wasn’t my fault that it broke (in reality they’d probably find a nick on the case and say it broke because I dropped it or hit it against something when in actuality it literally broke off when I hadn’t even pressed on it). I asked for them to offer some other type of option and never heard back... really disappointed after an initially OK experience. I wasn’t upset that I had to be sent 3 cases before I got one that worked because they had such good customer service. Not sure why they reversed course with a silly broken button issue 🤷🏻‍♀️
