Best vacuum I ever had!
By Sara on Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2020
This vacuum was very easy to assemble. It is lightweight and less noisy than comparable electric models. I can now vacuum under the sofa without having to move the sofa---a real back saver! The LED lights are nice and bright, and make it so easy to see spots that might have otherwise been missed. The vacuum head swivels just enough to get around chair legs and into corners and odd spots. The attachments are simple to attach and remove, and function quite well. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that even though I have used this vacuum almost 50 times already, I have not had to clean any hairs or strings/threads off of the roller head. Cleaning is a breeze now that I don't have to wrassle with an electric cord. Wall storage means it's always charged and ready for use. Regarding battery life I am able to vacuum two medium sized rooms and two smaller rooms on high suction without running out of power. Bottom line: everything the manufacturer claims about this vacuum is true! Only recommendation I have is to purchase an extra filter or two since these need to be washed and allowed to dry for at least 24 hours.

My last Bissell product
By Carpe Noctem Design on Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2020
I guess I am the idiot for for purchasing another Bissell after the last few disappointments but several articles claimed this was one of the best cordless vacuums. It is not. I wanted a cordless version for my carpeted bedroom and the multiple area rugs because I wanted to increase the frequency they were vacuumed without the hassle of cords. While I don’t own it, I have used a cordless of another leading brand which is only about $50 more expensive and the suction is at least 2x stronger. I have a corded version of another leading brand similar in price which is also 2x stronger as well. Upon first use, it did well enough on the carpeting and rugs - better than the Bissell corded vac I regularly use. Then I tried some of the extra tools it came it. The rectangle tool (pet dusting brush) is stupid because it has hard plastic nubs all round - it is not safe for wood and made it difficult to use. The hardwood roller (paint roll looking thing) actually made suction worse!! I have no use for the other tools so I don’t know how those performed. Additionally, this vacuum does poorly on hardwood to begin with. I had to go over the same spots at least 3 times to pick up small amounts dog hair. My dogs hair thin and fine - not thick and coarse. That’s ridiculous for a vacuum that claims to be pet friendly. I decided that I’d keep the vacuum for the carpeting and ease of use. The dog hair is a temporary problem so it seemed like an livable inconvenience. I wasn’t pleased but I’m sick of dealing with cords and I was just using it for small areas. I figured I’d just suck up and live with it. Well nearly a month and a half in it started to give up off a burning smell. Nothing was clogged, and it was recently cleaned. The smell was coming in the area of the filter (which was spotless) so I’m assuming because that area is basically where the motor is located something was mechanically wrong inside. I returned and thankfully I made in the extended return window. I’m so glad I didn’t get stuck with this because I don’t think it would have lasted and I’d be out nearly $300. The last time I used on the carpeting without the smell the suction seemed worse - because the smell started I really couldn’t test that out well enough but all my other Bissell products decreased in performance within 3 months of moderate use. I think this brand thinks they are in the upper levels of high quality product but they are really mid level- unfortunately their prices do not reflect that.
