If at first you don’t succeed...try, try a Colzer
By Browns&Beagle on Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2020
We’ve owned air filters in the past, to mixed success. They sure SOUNDED like they were working, and there was definitely air moving out of them...in dropping degrees, as the filters seemed to absorb the beagle hair/dust bunny amalgam leftover from the every-five-days sweeping with startling ease. Bulky, heavy machines that required 90 day filter swaps, only three air flow settings, and you never quite knew how well the air was being filtered...it wasn’t a hard decision when we finally kicked them to the curb. Not even 12 months later, our daughter was diagnosed with dust mite allergies. To be honest, we picked up our Colzer on a “just get SOMETHING” desperate shopping spree on Amazon alongside the bedding covers and nasal rinses. I was skeptical at first, because it was so much smaller than the last air filters we had...and lighter...and it could operate so much quieter...and instead of getting lodged in the actual filter, the dust monsters were getting trapped outside the machine, where it was easy to sweep them up. Sure, the number panel made it LOOK like it was working, but those numbers didn’t mean much, right? And then one night the husband came in to give an update on a dirty garage project, standing three feet from the machine...and we were surprised to learn the panel could change colors to blue...and then to yellow...and all the way up to red, with readouts in the 500s. It took a couple hours on high to rid our living area of his handyman contagion, but eventually the numbers returned to single digits, the panel returned to code green, and all was well with the air quality in our living room once again. Husband was banished to the garage for the remainder of the project...and we bought a second Colzer unit for the basement play room that very evening. That was last Thanksgiving. It’s now going on Halloween, that first unit has only alerted us to needing a filter change once, and the basement unit is still happily functioning on its first filter. Three-cheers for second chances at air quality control.

Injustice for the money
By USA buyer on Reviewed in the United States on December 27, 2021
Doesn't work as described. Doesn't remove any odors. Auto mode Doesn't work well won't adjust fan with air quality changes, or change color of air quality. Is loud at highest mode. While a different brand changes color and adjust fan when it detects air quality changes. Main reason to buy this is odors and dust due to construction going on outside. But seems this does not take care of the quality of air. Not for my home. Also make sure to check CADR and buy one with highest atleast close to 400 or more. I didn't know when I bought this.
