Easy to use. Just plug in and check the lights. We've not had any surges but it's nice to know this is there to hopefully protect our fifth wheel investment. We use it at home and so far once on a trip.

Electrical Fire!!! Be careful!

Luckily we were actually in our RV when we noticed the power started surging. We heard a high energy electrical flash and went outside and discovered the surge protector and it’s outgoing plug were open fire and electrical arc was coming from the surge protector and wiring. Be careful!!
