I have an old, heavily used/abused Hitachi model of this Metabo, and the Hitachi is still working perfectly. I was ecstatic to see they are still making this awesome little drill. It's perfectly balanced, light weight(I hang it from my pocket most of the day) long battery life, surprising torque for a 12V, extremely durable(I've dropped it dozens of times) and the 21 position clutch works fantastic. Best drill out there, especially for the price.

Poor Battery Life or Dead Gun

Used very sparingly. Batteries both dead, won't charge or else drill unit died, can't tell. "Lifetime Warranty" does not apply to batteries. Amazon warranty dept won't even respond to emails. Will not buy Metabo tools again.
