WAVLINK WiFi Range Extender

Purchased this extender and it did not work. Looked up Wavlink online to find more info why it powered up but could not be found by our devices. Found a chat and asked for help. They asked for teplephone # and recieved a call shortly thereafter. The tech was very polite and walked hubby through everything. We live where ther is no cell service, so we have to use wifi for everything. Roger the tech asked to go into my laptop remotly and see what was going on, so we opened UltraViewer and let him in. He said there were 63 active devices connected to our network and he would help us get rid of them. We did not want all of these people on our network because they could steal all of our info, including banking etc. Long story short, we got him off the phone to call our provider and they said no way, and so we looked up the phone number and it was not to Wavlink. I messaged Wavlink and still have gotten no response. So the unit would not work, and the company does not do it's due dilligence to protect the customer.
