My favorite -- DO NOT BUY
By Armand on Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2021
[Updated] Plantronics has merged with Polycom. Neither company offers any support for these gaming headsets. My mute stopped working on the headset, so a replacement was sent. The mute still does not work. Tried to raise the issue, but now I am being directed to Polycom support. Polycom does not offer any support unless you register your Polycom device with the SN. These headset are not Polycom, and do not have serial numbers -- or any distinguishing key to use for registration. Plantronics still has a functioning website, but they too do not list any of their gaming headsets on their site, and have zero support for them. I love the headsets. They are still my favorite. But if you buy these, just know, they DO NOT support them. Because of the failed mute feature on two units, and the zero support, I must change my review to a 1 star. [/updated] Not as comfort as the prior generation on the ears, but I love the soft ear pads of these headsets. I have a pair of Logitech that give me headaches because they are so tight fitting. These stay put without squeezing your head. The audio controls are a huge improvement too. Raise mic out of the way to mute it, and volume know on game controller end makes it a breeze to operate. And best of all, you get Dolby Atmos activation for Xbox for free - this is a $15 value.
