I have a sunroom that gets too hot. I used these to hold up shade plastic to keep the sun out. Worked great!

Won't stay put!

No matter how tight I install them they won't stay put. They're easy to put in - which is good because you'll need to repeatedly install them. They have no weight on them like shown in the item's pictures. I have them in my cupboard to store my casserole dishes on their sides to make it easier to access them. The tension rods fall without any bumping at all. I've used tension rods for years but these ones just will NOT stay in place. I'd return them but by the time I was able to install them they were past the return window. These were a waste of money.
