Obsessed!!
By S. Reese on Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2022
When I say I researched for an entire year before buying an espresso machine - AND looked often and continually disappointed by other machines and reviews. This gem was recommended to me and as soon as I saw it in the store I had to have it. It’s sturdy! The build is incredible. Heavy in the right places (the front bar is just sexy!) and the titan model is heavier metal on the sides. It works so fast and efficiently. The espresso just smelled incredible. I knew I didn’t want a complicated machine (who has the time??) that I’d have to learn- no thanks. This was easy set up! The frother is AMAZING. Why did I not buy one of these before?? It slightly heats as it foams YUM! I even frothed coconut creamer with syrup and it was creamy and amazing (had worried reading other reviews that it was impossible to froth anything other than actual milk but I find it does well with almond milk too) I’m so glad I finally pulled the trigger and purchased this. Now I need to exercise self control and not use this every few hours LOL

Not For Mugs!
By Stroppy1 on Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2021
Well, what can I say? Was I a mug for buying this machine? I read favorable reviews for this machine and bought it when my old unit crapped out. What they DON'T tell you is you need to put a tiny dinky demitasse, or perhaps a little Miss Tabitha Tea Time toy teacup under the nozzle for it to fit. Trust me... anything tallet than a demitasse or a wide tea/coffee cup won't fit! I use a mug and it wasn't close to fitting under the nozzle/spout/(insert other adjective here). I took the base apart to make it fit, placing the mug directly on the countertop, but the disposable reservoir base juts out at the bottom, so your mug cannot sit flush against the machine. This means when the coffee is pouring it barely goes in the mug, right at the edge. Not a world-killing deal-breaker but something to keep in mind. Also, if you've ever wondered what the sound of a didgeridoo sounds like, BUY this item! I'm tellin' ya it sounds just like one when you're brewing coffee! A better option for taller cups/mugs is a necessity for any machine like this. The handle to put in the pods works smoothly but one time it came back up again while I was making coffee, apparently I needed to double-check that it was secured properly... It seems to pour and pierce the pods evenly and I love the fact I only need to drop in a pod safely for it to go where it's supposed to go. My old unit required dangerous surgery each time I dropped in a pod - sometimes it would drop straight into the disposer tank, other times I'd get my finger caught in the pod barrel nearly severing it completely (an exaggeration I know but I can't help it, I'm Australian). The water tank itself just sits loosely on the rubber seal doohickey oozamawhatsit and wobbles all around when moved. Doesn't look secure at all, but so far doesn't leak either. I found 2 tiny plastic hooks that secure the tank to the unit. Problem is they're on the lid. Every time you open the lid the hooks come out again. Overall, a great unit to use for your next tea party with Miss Tabitha, but if you actually want to fill a real cup with coffee, look elsewhere...
