RITON SCOPES ARE PRICED WAY BELOW WHAT THEIR SUPERB QUALITY COULD DEMAND!
By Gil on Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2020
I am a long-range shooter, and I own some of the biggest names in firearms optics. About a year ago, I discovered RITON scopes, and this RITON RT-S MOD 3 GEN2 2-7x32 Riflescope, is my fourth RITON. The quality of the glass used in a particular scope, is the deciding factor for me, the rest is just icing. Never before have I seen such remarkable HD glass for under $300! Add the Push/Pull Locking Zero Reset Turrets and you are a giant step ahead of lesser scopes. The RTS Mod 3 Gen 2 RITON is an entry level, but high-quality scope, which I have seen priced at $189, and at their high end (the X7 models) are $2,500. RITON consistently gives us the highest quality glass (class-for-class) available, and the company is owned by US military veterans, and law enforcement specialists. The next time you're looking for a new scope, do yourself a favor and compare RITON - price-for-price - to any other scope you're considering... and after you have shouted the word "AMAZING!", buy RITON!

OK at best... not a great value.

I bought this scope for a 22 rifle. As others have noted in their review...this scope is ruggedly built. That pretty much ends my positive impression. Compared to Nikon 22 BDC scope...this is scope is not in the Nikon league...nor is it a good value. The scope is not very clear....in any....but the brightest light. I would compare the clarity to one of the Russian brands that sell for 1/2 the price. The reticle is thin and hard to see for hunting purposes. Even for target practice the reticle is not easy to pick up in the focal plane. (The reticle is harder to see than a than the fine wire reticle found in a 1940s weaver 22 scope.)The company recommends the “1st reticle bar” on the scope to start zeroing is 75 yards? That is (in my opinion) 25 meters/yards too far. It’s a 22 scope....they (22s) have a trajectory like a rainbow. 175 yards is a distance for a 30/30...22 hornet...5.7 rifle cartridge....in my opinion ....it’s not a practice distance for most 22 rifles on the market. I have a 22 that can shoot 175 yards plus.... and I would not put this optic on a $1700 sporting arm. I would not buy this scope again. Either spend less and get better value or look at a higher quality scope from another vendor.
