Great show, but careful of toe strap!

Let me start by saying I really enjoy the footbed of these! I love how supported my foot /arch feel, which was what I was looking for when picking a sandal. My trouble has been with the toe strap. I have a wide, fat foot so I had to adjust the straps quite a bit for them to be comfortable. I did get to a nice place where everything felt as it should, but as I would walk, no matter what I did, the toe strap would tighten. This is apparently a common issue and I was unaware going into it. Chaco do offer a service Called “Rechaco” where they will correct this issue for free (you pay shipping) however, I was hesitant to do this as I’m nervous the issue would still be there. Like I said, once I initially adjusted the straps, everything fit great! The arch is great, they feel comfortable on my foot, but the toe strap is a hit button for me and I’m personally returning for another shoe.

Fits wrong.

I want to like these sandals so bad! I am a 5'7" female, usually wear a size 10 in shoes. I bought a size 10, and the actual length of the shoe fits well, but the arch is too far back! The arch is trying to push my foot forward but the toe strap does not allow this and if it did my toes would hang off! I adjust the straps all the time to try to get the right fit but it usually is uncomfortable around the arch. When I can get it almost right, and start walking around, my big toe feels like it is going to be taken off! The straps are designed in such a way that they tighten on your toes you walk. Because I got the single toe strap that means my big toe gets all the pressure. I have heard there is a break in period so I will keep trying, but so far still uncomfortable. Otherwise, the shoe is really cute! And I love the initial design.
