Oops! My bad!

Discontent with the “1 lead” vs “6 lead” features as expressed in paragraphs below was COMPLETELY off base. The toggle between 1 and 6 lead tracings is in the software app, not on the device itself. My bad! Too hasty in using the device and too hasty in submitting a review. The 6L device performs very nicely and the Bluetooth connection is slicker than the audio connection for the 1L, especially in noisy situations. Customer support for my problem was EXCELLENT. Am still put off by the marketing. Original (premature) review below: Feel that this device is marketed deceptively. While it is touted as a 6 lead monitor, the user only gets to see the results of all six leads by paying additional fees. Otherwise it is a 1 lead model. The software is also loaded with upcharge marketing that I find off-putting. That said, it is a remarkable and ingenious technical advancement that provides an easily readable and informative 1 lead rhythm tracing. I plan to replace the “6L” with the cheaper 1L for the identical pre-paid result.

Had issues with 6L

The single lead worked awesome. I have Afib and it works as advertised. I was having some other issues and spoke to my cardiologist who recommended the 6 lead version. I purchased and had nothing but issues for over 5 months. Finally had an ablation and converted back to sinus rhythm. I emailed KardioMobile explaining my circumstances. I followed their instructions to a T. I stayed away from charging systems, electrical outlets, power lines, any noise etc. Every time I used the 6L I would always get an interference error message during the 30 second testing. KardiaMobile's response was….. the exact same message that is delivered with the instructions with the box. I even stated I was outside in my back yard surrounded by nothing, zip, nada jut an empty place. Their response never mentioned or responded to anything I said. They just repeated the instructions in the box. To me, this means it could be an outside source for Customer Service? To this day the single lead works with no issues. The 6L just sits in its box. As a reference: The single lead you use your 1st two fingers and place on the unit for 30 seconds. The 6L you use your thumbs and place the unit on your left knee or ankle and hold for 30 seconds.
