Makes good coffee. I bought the metal filter and it fits well. Can be programmed to give you coffee in the morning when you are too busy to make it!

Great coffee maker, feels sloid. I have owed the previous versions of this, this one feels more solid. buttons are metal, carafe cover change is good. Refurbished well, Excellent Packing work.

Love the programming options, bit tricky at first but once you get the clock set properly you just have to leave the knob alone. Haven't been able to figure out the clean function yet; still a great coffee maker, especially for the price

I had a red Cuisinart coffeemaker, but it died after several years of daily+ use. Now red doesn't seem to be available, so I bought this one. It also has a more modern look, but it works great. I have zero complaints about the function or the coffee it makes. My family has been using these coffeemakers for years.

It makes a good cup of coffee. The set ahead feature is easy to use. I don’t like the shape of the filter because it doesn’t stand up on its own. I wish it had a flip top lid. Lastly, the filter area should be bigger. A 14cup maker should be able to hold more coffee without spilling over and getting grounds into your pot.

Great coffee maker at a good price

Our last coffee maker had a low-temp setting, and the resulting coffee was close to 155 degrees (drinking anything above 149 is reported to contribute to throat cancer). This maker has low, medium, and high temperature settings, but even with low, the resulting coffee is 185 degrees or so. I was disappointed because its temp setting is the only reason we didn't get a cheaper coffee maker. Yes, I know that the water has to boil to make coffee. I'm not sure how the other maker kept the temp low. Maybe it didn't turn on the heating pad at all (this should be an option for this coffee maker). I almost sent it back, but a workaround is to set it to turn off the heating pad as soon as the coffee is done (nice feature). Also, I set it to finish brewing about ten minutes before we come down in the morning, so by the time we get there it has cooled a bit. UPDATE: On other problem is that the labels on the front wore off after a year of use. You'll need to print out an image from the manual so you can see where to set the dial.

For being a refurbish item with new parts, I found it totally inadequate! Well at least the work performed (?) On the coffee maker. When I received the coffee maker I followed the directions to the letter. The first thing I noted was there was NO CHARCOAL FILTER OR CARRIER to go in the water reservoir! Then I noted that the reusable basket for the coffee ground (copper mesh) was missing also! So I programmed the maker per instructions and decided to just run 14 cups of RO water through just to make sure it worked before trying to brew a pot of coffee. Sure glad I didn't waste the grounds! Unit was plugged in and attempted to brew 3 times and ONLY 6 cups of water came through. It always acted like it was just finishing up brewing a pot of coffee, it never really "dripped" water from the basket like they normally do. Made a hell of a bunch of steam though! Call Amazon a received a return authorization and after emptying the water and drying out the unit, sent it back the next morning and order a higher quality Cuisenart and hopefully, it is in much better condition. Whomever did the refurbish job on the original, really did a poor job and just threw parts at it and NEVER EVER checked to see if the coffee maker functioned properly!
