GREAT Value at a Decent Price

This is actually my second pair of these ear buds. The only reason for 2 is the charging case for the first set got flooded in my pocket during a down pour. SURPRISINGLY, the buds themselves survived with NO issues but the case lost the ability to be recharged therefore once it was dead, it could no longer recharge the buds. I have so many praises for this product. The sound quality is wonderful, both during a call or listening to my music. The 3 stage EQ ability is also a winner for me. Even the quality of my voice to a caller is full and clear. BUT...my most favorite feature of all is the "AWARE" feature. This allows for ambient sound to pass through the buds while listening to music or just having the buds in ear between calls. TO EXPLAIN: You can listen to music (if your aren't blasting your ear drums LOL) and still hear someone speak to you, even hold a conversation, without removing the buds. Or already have them in while waiting for a call or just ending one, you can still hear what is going on around you. I find this extremely convenient. While other brands and even newer versions of these boast Additional Noise Canceling (ANC) which these do NOT have. These can let ambient sound in IF DESIRED !! That said, if it is less outside noise that you want, these come with 3 sizes of ear cushions of which one is like "memory foam". This closes off outside noise quite well. In my opinion, all this adds up to a nice quality product that won't "break the bank" !

Fall of one of the greats

Holy cow, how do I begin? I have been a huge fan of JLab for over a decade because honestly, the gap between $30 headphones and $200 headphones had become very narrow. Noise cancellation was in its infancy for consumer products, voice isolation was just an idea, and if you were spending more than $30 they’d better be worth it. My JBuds got me through many study sessions and workouts with great sound and a reasonable price. Times change, people get greedy, and these headphones are a prime example. My first order wouldn’t even go into pairing mode. My second pair did, but only righty. After some searching I was able to pair left and right together and then to my devices. Two hours later (I did not use them until they had had a full charge after removing the protective stickers), they unpaired from my phone and turned off. I reconnected and it happened again 2 minutes later. I charged them for 6 hours and still, 2 minutes. I reset them and re-pair to my phone. 2 minutes. I’m really disappointed, but this is it for me. Out of despair I bought a bottom shelf pair of $30 Skull Candy earbuds, and they won by a landslide. These executive earbuds managed to not fit with four sets of ear cups. They sounded tinny. The few calls I made made me hard to hear. Touch controls were an absolute nightmare. On too of it all, THEY WERE DOA once and DIED AFTER 2 HOURS USE the second time! All I wanted was to be tided over until a Air Pod Pro 2 at least got announced, and old reliable couldn’t even get me 3 hours closer to that goal. RIP in peace, old friend. My JLab ReWinds will be my last pair. Keep this executive nonsense, now I know why this junk was 50% off.
