Great value for the money with easy set up

It’s always a gamble when you buy a printer online and it has definitely been a while since I had to buy one I have always been most comfortable with HPT and was very pleased at how easy this was to set up. No more programming Wi-Fi you simply scan the code I did it in less than two minutes on my phone sent the link to my computer and everything was set up for me didn’t have to enter my password it was all very seamless. As for the ink cartridges there is ink included in the package and I specifically chose to sign up for the monthly agreement I was given a $40 credit and you use the pin code for the eight months of ink. I can’t count how many times in the past I was in the middle of printing documents or needing to do something quickly in the moment and I had run out of ink it is the most irritating thing ever and then you end up spending 60 $70 a month so choose the package that works best for you anyway it goes to me it’s a cost savings and a time savings. Completely unusable. When first purchasing this printer, it worked ok. It was hard to install, because the online name is different than the printer name on the actual printer firstly. After about a month the ink ran out. Which was extremely fast, and then somehow the company did not produce the ink for this printer for a YEAR! We waited a year to find ink for this printer again. We found it, installed it, and the ink won’t work. It won’t print color. We even bought a second set of ink, thinking maybe we got duds. Only prints black and white. we have done every setting we can think of, including calling the company for help and being told “I don’t know what to tell you”. Printer knows we replaced the ink to new fill cartridges that it said it accepted, yet won’t use them to print anything. Now, on top of that, the printer constantly says it’s offline. Despite being on wifi, Bluetooth, and even tried to connect it directly usb port to computer. We have also tried other computers and our phones. When trouble shooting, the app tells me the printer is off, yet the printer is not off. The phones can’t even find the printer and when it does the printer doesn’t print. Then randomly 3 days later it will suddenly kick itself on, and spit something out from 3 weeks ago. Worst printer, worst money ever spent. So angry about this purchase. Do NOT recommend.
